I wish I knew why this dress was hanging out a window, flashing brightly against a dingy building in the Flatiron District.
Someone’s bridesmaid dress needing freshening up? A prom in February? Probably not.
This is New York. Someone probably just wanted to make people like me crazy with curiosity.

It appears someone took over the account [@OSCaseyAnthony] during the weekend and changed passwords as well as the email account used to create it. For a while this week, 40,000 followers to OSCaseyAnthony saw a feed from someone claiming to be Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie series.

Ode to The Michelada
The michelada is my favorite drink.
Maybe you’re not familiar with it. Also known as “cerveza preparada,” it is a beer cocktail of sorts.
Imagine a spicy bloody Mary with lots of lime juice, but replace the vodka with beer. Recipes vary but that’s the beauty of it: there are several ways to get to the same essential beverage.
Here’s one I like.
Or you could let someone else do the heavy lifting. I have had some terrific micheladas at these spots:
