Because some of you have asked, yes, I am still in Das Boot.
I have worn it with jeans, sundresses, cargo pants and skirts. Das Boot helps me get around with less pain but I still hate it.
On Tuesday, I see the doctor again. Wish me luck!

Last week when I was in NYC, I walked behind a woman wearing a boot like that on her left foot and a high-heel shoe on her right. Was it you?
How high?
Seriously I do wear wedges with the boot but it’s more to offset the height of said boot than for fashion’s sake. Otherwise I’d lurch even more.
I’d say 3 inches – and not a wedge! She was walking on the tip toe of her booted foot. not ideal for healing.
That was definitely not me. When I wear a non-athletic shoe, it’s one of two wedges, both of which are being run into the ground.
