A peek inside the Olympic Village

As much as the competitions themselves hold our attention, lots of us are curious about life inside the Olympic Village.

Access to the Village is extremely limited with essentially zero access for media during the Games. Still stories spill out, usually by the same people “protected” from journalists in the first place. Ha!

Additionally, stories about other elements of the Village are placed, such as this one about the residences’ interior design and plans for post-Games use.

The spaces are bright and fresh, but if I were an athlete, I wouldn’t be excited about a twin bed OR having a roommate.

Just call me Princess Bitchface. It won’t be the first time.

Thanks to @joannagoddard whose blog I adore for making me aware of this cool article.

Back to that loose lips article I mentioned, I have to say that it totally made me nostalgic for my college days and my first years living in NYC. Perhaps I should leave it at that.
