Here’s a first: a former spy in the Twitter Spotlight! Emily Brandwin who also goes by @CIASpyGirl on Twitter has also dabbled in stand up comedy as well as public relations.

Versatile? Yes.

When Emily and I met face to face for lunch in LA a few weeks ago, I tried not to obsess over her past spy work, but it was hard (at first). Fortunately she’s used to people like me acting like goofballs and patient about it. We’re still buddies.

OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest

@CIASpyGirl: My most favorite qualities in a love interest are sense of humor and talent. “Funny” and “talent” are a killer combo. I also look for generosity of spirit, intelligence, smarts (street smarts) compassion, beautiful eyes, wisdom and an ability to overlook a new purse purchase.

@CIASpyGirl: Sense of humor! My best friend @Eminmotion is hilarious.

OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness

@CIASpyGirl: Happiness is traveling to some fantastic foreign country with my husband, walking down the street hand in hand, window shopping and taking in all the crazy sights and smells. Heaven!

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@CIASpyGirl: The first Monday after “The Bachelor Final Rose,” which sadly means I have months to wait before the next season. I have a Bachelor problem.

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@CIASpyGirl: My favorite food is the Grilled Yellowtail Collar at Haru Sushi Café in Los Angeles. I also like carbs (in general) – anything crunchy, salty and tasty. Disney World isn’t the happiest place on earth, the Trader Joe’s snack aisle is.

I’m not a discerning drinker so my favorite alcoholic beverage is super-cheap hot sake, super-cheap fruity sweet drinks that taste like a college kid made it in a trash can for a frat party or Champagne.

@CIASpyGirl: Carbs, my husband. Wait, I mean my husband and then carbs, trashy soap opera magazines (feel free to judge), Sirius 72 Broadway Show Tune Channel (ok, you can really judge me now) and friends/family (so I sound like a good person).

@CIASpyGirl: (Tied for first) To write a book, travel to Turkey, to meet Mandy Patinkin and Patti Lupone (who are both on “my other list”).

@Ruth_A_Buzzi is definitely on the top of my list along with @AlbertBrooks.

@SarahKSilverman was on my list. I recently met her and became so tongue-tied because I’m a HUGE fan. I kept muttering “You’re so pretty ” over and over again.  All I had to do was talk about “the rabbits” and I would have done a spot on “Of Mice and Men” Lenny impression.

“I received my #CIGNA MRI rejection letter today. The envelope was so thick, for a second I thought I got accepted into CIGNA University.”

and

“Brad and Angelina got engaged. I hear they registered at an orphanage.”

@CIASpyGirl: My husband and I are both HUGE Bachelor fans.  I heard him laughing while reading twitter and he said “You need to start following this girl!”

@CIASpyGirl: Love to give a shout out to my girlfriend @AGiftedSociety She writes about fashion, style and is just an all around great gal. She has some of the BEST stories ever and has enabled my shoe habit.
