Twitter Spotlight: Molly Britt

I am intensely grateful to WordPress’s Freshly Pressed for introducing to @Mollytopia because she isn’t actually someone I followed on Twitter. That came later.

Molly’s post that grabbed me (well, the first of many) is about childhood. In her words, she was “raised by drug smugglers, hippies, and circus performers.”

Mollytopia

OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest

@Mollytopia: makes me laugh out loud, will built a fort with me out of couch cushions, and takes my clothes off with his teeth. This position is currently filled.

OneChicklette: Your chief characteristic (one word)

@Mollytopia: earnest

OneChicklette: What you appreciate most in your friends

@Mollytopia: their ability to be: awesome parents and fierce competitors in their careers, the busiest people I know but available for our friendship, totally refined and responsible but let the wheels come off with me five times a year.

OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness

@Mollytopia: unlimited resources to travel whenever and wherever I want to – to be a quiet observer of other cultures, experience new things, help where I can, and connect with other people.

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@Mollytopia: Having to sit still when I don’t want to.

OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character

@Mollytopia: Jason Bourne. That dude will work it out with a capital O. I also love Matt Damon because he’s a good human.

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@Mollytopia: cheese, rare meat, or whatever’s being served at Fashion Week. I drink more water than my whole neighborhood, so I guess that gets top billing for favorite drink (sparkling water if it’s in a glass bottle, flat if it’s in a plastic bottle – there are no exceptions).

OneChicklette: Five tangible things you can’t live without

@Mollytopia: wind, water, iphone, lip gloss, and cheese.

OneChicklette: When did you first really feel like a grown-up? (This great question was added by @bookgirl96)

@Mollytopia: What are you talking about? Is that going to happen?

OneChicklette: Who do you know via social media that you’re dying to meet in real life? (this question came via @floridagirlindc)

@Mollytopia: Oh there are so many. You! @theoutlawmama @carinnjade @donofalltrades1 @ticking_tocking @juliedavidoski

OneChicklette: A question I should ask the next participant

@Mollytopia: If you could choose any musical to perform in, which one would it be? I would choose this one:

OneChicklette: Random shout out (can be a person, a web site, a favorite product or brand…anything)

@Mollytopia: WelcometotheMotherhood Lookit, @carinnjade doesn’t need a shout out, but she’s funny and honest, and I love her perspective on being an individual and a parent. She’s not trying to change the world, or anybody in it, but just by being her she probably will.

    Molly,
    OneChicklette sent me here through Carnie’s Corner… She didn’t know that you and Le Clown go way back… It’s good to have a face on you, though!
