Twitter Spotlight: @BlairDC

If memory serves – and frankly, it doesn’t always – @BlairDC was one of the first people I met in DC via Twitter.

Not working on The Hill, I spent a lot of my time living there feeling like an outsider. Talking and tweeting with Blair, though, gave me a peek into the DC scene I never would have had otherwise.

Do not miss Blair’s Instagrams–her beautiful hometown on North Carolina’s coast plays a starring role.

Blair

OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest

@BlairDC: Sense of humor, honesty, drive, compassion.

OneChicklette: Your chief characteristic (one word)

@BlairDC: Inquisitive. Though gregarious is probably used more to describe my personality.

OneChicklette: What you appreciate most in your friends

@BlairDC: Loyalty, dependability, and a shared interest in having a good time!

OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness

@BlairDC: Seeing live music or lounging around listening to it.

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@BlairDC: Laundry, but only the folding clothes portion. Shivers.

OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character

@BlairDC: Wonder Woman, though the idea of *being* Jessica Rabbit heats up around Halloween.

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@BlairDC: Soul food. Whiskey.

OneChicklette: Five tangible things you can’t live without

@BlairDC: Love, family, iphone, music, water – wait, air?

OneChicklette: What’s the number one item on your bucket list? (question via @SaraLang)

@BlairDC: Getting married? Haha. Let’s go with travel. Tibet and India currently top the bucket list.

@OneChicklette: Who do you know via social media that you’re dying to meet in real life?  (this question came via @Tammy)

@BlairDC: My buddy Judah, @jdrch – we’ve been twitter friends for years now, and he’s a really thoughtful, interesting guy that has provided more advice than some of my closest IRL friends.

@OneChicklette: How many days do you think you would you go without speaking a single word, if you were being paid $100,000 a day for every consecutive day you didn’t speak? (this amazing question came via @BrianSpaeth)

@BlairDC: I’d probably not last a day. There are too many interesting people in the world and I’ve got too many questions.

OneChicklette: via @AndiLavs What was the last kind thing you did?

@BlairDC: Just this morning. I try to do kind things every day. Karma is good, and doing kind things makes you feel good. Winner, winner.

OneChicklette: A question I should ask the next participant

@BlairDC: If you could have anyone at your dinner table – and I mean, anyone – who would it be?

OneChicklette: Random shout out

@BlairDC: Ina Garten, aka the Barefoot Contessa! Here’s to hoping she reads this and I get to meet her. Haha. She’s my foodie crush.

BUT, I have to mention FamousDC as well. They allowed me to highlight entertainment options in the DC area for over 2 years which expanded my twitter portfolio considerably. The rock.
