I’m a big fan of Girls so I was eager to see how Lena Dunham would do as host of Saturday Night Live.

She was great!
For me, these were the highlights.
First, SNL does Scandal. Watch it here. The casting is great. Sasheer Zamata is terrific as Olivia Pope and Lena cracked me up as Millennial new hire Kelsey.
Second, Hannah in the Garden of Eden. From the first “Adam?” this is gold.

I thought it was a solid episode too! Lena is 1 billion times more charming/likeable than Hannah & I’m glad that came through in the show. Loved the Scandal skit bc that’s exactly how I would act if I were at OPA. The Men’s Rights Activist skit had a lot of potential but in general fell flat for me, esp bc of Cecily’s weird Latina accent.
