After a month-long hiatus, the Twitter Spotlight is here to [hopefully] entertain you and to introduce you to another Twitter friend. I hope to get back to weekly posts with time but that counts on the punctuality of my lovely subjects so we’ll see!

@KateRitchie: Acceptance, support, easy laughter

@KateRitchie: A day spent on the beach with a good book & cold drinks. Stay till sunset then head home for seafood on grill with family & friends, cold drinks, and a playlist full of Doo-wop and Motown.

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@KateRitchie: Seeing loved ones cry or in pain. A close second: taking public transportation with nail clippers, nose pickers, and loud talkers.

OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character

@KateRitchie: Liz Lemon, but Dr. Mindy Lahiri is quickly moving up the ranks.

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@KateRitchie: My favorite thing to eat is probably sushi. To drink, I love tea or sparkling water. The list of alcohol I enjoy is entirely too long to list here, but I prefer my spirits served in a champagne coupe – especially a French 75.

@KateRitchie: I prefer to-do lists to bucket lists. I love checking things off a list (hello, OCD) year by year rather than waiting to try and accomplish the long, crazy list I have.

@OneChicklette: Who do you know via social media that you’re dying to meet in real life?  (this question came via @floridagirlindc)

@KateRitchie: I spend a lot of time on YouTube and most of my social media crushes start there. I think Mamrie Hart is absolutely hilarious. I want to get drunk with her…or have the sisters from Pixiwoo (Nicola Haste and Samantha Chapman) do my makeup.  From Twitter, I would love to run into Billy Eichner on the street and be verbally assaulted.

@KateRitchie: Too hard to select one from the many, many gems I share with the world. My best tweets happen when I’m drinking and watching awards shows.

@KateRitchie: I’ll give some love to my current obsessions, which are TV, music, and makeup-related obviously. TV: Moone Boy and My Mad Fat Diary, both in their second seasons. Music: Sam Smith Nirvana EP. Makeup/Beauty: eOS lip balm in mint and Hourglass Ambient Light palette.
