Twitter Spotlight: Sarah Moon

If I could sum up Sarah in just one word, it would be bookish. Her love for reading and writing drives her career and her passion projects including Clear Eyes, Full Shelves.

But there’s more to native Oregonian Sarah. For starters: Her love of her husband, Josh, and their two dogs. Ukuleles. Teaching. Friday Night Lights.

Get to know Sarah a bit here.

OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest

@SarahSMoon: Good hair, a sense of humor, patience and the ability and willingness to open jars and reach things off the top shelf. Fortunately, my husband excels in all those areas.

OneChicklette: Your chief characteristic (one word)

@SarahSMoon: Opinionated.

OneChicklette: What you appreciate most in your friends

@SarahSMoon: No bullshit, loyalty, lots of laughter and deeply-held opinions about fictional characters.

OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness

@SarahSMoon: Sunshine. I think I must have a Vitamin D deficiency because my mood swings radically depending the amount of sunshine in my life. Clearly, living in the Pacific Northwest is not the wisest life choice.

OneChicklette: Your idea of misery

@SarahSMoon: Working in a cubicle. (Been there, done that.) Also: snow. I hate winter.

OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character

@SarahSMoon: Seriously? I have to pick ONE?! I have so many feelings about fictional characters…If you force my hand, I’ll say Tami Taylor from The Greatest Television Show of All Time, Friday Night Lights. I’d like her to give me life advice with a heavy dose of “y’all.”

OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink

@SarahSMoon: Tater Tots & tea. Not together, because I’m not completely deranged.

OneChicklette: Five tangible things you can’t live without

@SarahSMoon: My Kindle currently containing over 500 unread books, my beautiful tenor ukulele my husband made for me, my two crazy dogs (are they considered “things”?), my super-fluffy comforter.

@OneChicklette: How many days do you think you would you go without speaking a single word, if you were being paid $100,000 a day for every consecutive day you didn’t speak? (this amazing question came via @BrianSpaeth)

@SarahSMoon: I got really bad laryngitis once and couldn’t talk for around four days. That was horrible. I’d last maybe two days without losing my mind.

OneChicklette: A question I should ask the next participant

@SarahSMoon: If walkup music were played whenever you entered a room, like when a baseball player walks up to bat, what would be your song choice?

OneChicklette: Random shout out

@SarahSMoon: “Holla!” to my friend Laura aka @StretchedOctave. We met on Twitter and are basically a very small gang. And a big “Texas Forever!” to my friend Lisa aka @Lisa_Schroeder, who dedicated her upcoming book, The Bridge from Me to You, to Laura & I.
