You lucky buggers are getting a special Tuesday Twitter Spotlight.
@BrizzyC and I started following each other when she was making plans to move to NYC in association with her exciting new job. We talked real estate and such. Now she’s here, launching an exciting new graduate program at CUNY.
Welcome to New York, Carrie Brown. Hope to grab beers with you soon!
OneChicklette: Your favorite qualities in a love interest
@BrizzyC: Unpretentious, fun to be around, and, ideally, willing to cook me dinner, because even I get tired of frozen burritos from time to time.
OneChicklette: Your chief characteristic (one word)
OneChicklette: What you appreciate most in your friends
@BrizzyC: They are brilliant but know how to keep it real.
OneChicklette: Your idea of happiness
@BrizzyC: Cold beer, good friends, and laughter.
OneChicklette: Your idea of misery
@BrizzyC: Spending more than 20 minutes in a store where they sell anything other than books.
OneChicklette: Your favorite fictional character
@BrizzyC: I think I might have a parasocial relationship with most of the Friday Night Lights cast. I just started watching True Blood when Prime added the first three seasons, and I’m enjoying Lafayette and Eric.
OneChicklette: Your favorite thing to eat, and also to drink
@BrizzyC: Pizza and beer. IPAs are my favorite, but I enjoy a fine Miller Lite macrobrew from time to time.
OneChicklette: Five tangible things you can’t live without
@BrizzyC: Smartphone, laptop, running shoes, bed, The Internets
OneChicklette: What’s the number one item on your bucket list? (question via @SaraLang)
@BrizzyC: mmm I’ve think I’ve ticked a lot of these off already, but I’ve never been a big bucket-list person. I’m more about embracing new experiences as a matter of course than coming up with a list. I’d love to visit one of the major wildlife refuges in Africa someday, so I’ll say that.
@OneChicklette: Who do you know via social media that you’re dying to meet in real life? (this question came via @Tammy)
@BrizzyC: David Carr
@OneChicklette: How many days do you think you would you go without speaking a single word, if you were being paid $100,000 a day for every consecutive day you didn’t speak? (this amazing question came via @BrianSpaeth)
@BrizzyC: Maybe two days but only if I could write instead.
OneChicklette: via @AndiLavs What was the last kind thing you did?
@BrizzyC: Trying to find the resources to help my current and former students embrace their dreams and make it as journalists.
OneChicklette: A question I should ask the next participant
@BrizzyC: What is your most interesting social media experience? (Something surprising you learned, a connection you made, a brush with celebrity, etc.)
OneChicklette: Random shout out (can be a person, your business, a web site, a favorite product or brand…anything)
